Elementary School

At Central Valley Christian Academy (CVCA), we offer a comprehensive and Christ-centered education for students in grades TK-8, designed to nurture their spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth. Our mission is to develop the whole child, providing a balanced education rooted in Christian values while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

Programs & Curriculum Our curriculum is carefully crafted to foster a love for learning, with a focus on academic excellence and Christian character development. From Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, students engage in a variety of subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and Bible studies, all taught from a biblical worldview. We emphasize a growth mindset, teaching students to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes.

Unique Experiences At CVCA We believe in providing our students with hands-on learning opportunities and real-world experiences that enhance their education. Some of our notable programs and activities include:

  • East Coast History Tour: Our 7th and 8th-grade students have the exciting opportunity to participate in a history tour of the East Coast, where they visit significant historical landmarks and deepen their understanding of American history.

  • Music Program: Starting in 5th grade, students are required to participate in band and choir, where they develop their musical abilities through both instruction and performance. Performances take place in the community, allowing students to showcase their skills.

  • Spiritual Emphasis: We integrate service into our daily lives, encouraging students to actively serve their community, church, and school. Weekly chapels, Bible study, and community outreach projects are central to our spiritual development program.

Field Trips and Extracurricular Activities Field trips are an integral part of our curriculum, designed to enrich students’ understanding of classroom concepts and provide a break from the traditional learning environment. From local science explorations to broader cultural experiences, our students enjoy regular trips tailored to their grade level.

We also offer a range of extracurricular activities, including sports, where students can develop teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. Our after-school sports program requires students to maintain good grades and citizenship to participate, reinforcing the importance of academic and personal responsibility.

A Safe, Nurturing Environment Our dedicated and experienced teachers are committed to creating a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment. At CVCA, we prioritize each child’s well-being and work closely with families to ensure that every student thrives academically, socially, and spiritually.

Get Involved Parent involvement is a key part of our school community, and we encourage parents to engage in their child’s education. From volunteering in the classroom to participating in school events, parents are welcome to be active members of the CVCA family.
