At Central Valley Christian Academy (CVCA), we believe that education is about so much more than academics—it's about nurturing the heart, mind, and spirit. Here’s what CVCA means to us:
You are Seen: At CVCA, every student and staff member is recognized as a valued individual, not just a number or a grade. Our teachers make it their mission to ensure that each student feels known, appreciated, and celebrated as one of God's special children.

We are in Your Corner: We want everyone in our CVCA family to leave each day knowing they are supported. Whether you're a student or a staff member, we are here for you through every challenge. At CVCA, we walk together in faith, offering support, prayer, and encouragement. Life is better when we follow Jesus together, and we are committed to standing by you, no matter what you're facing.

Think Rather Than Mimic: At CVCA, we encourage independent thought and the pursuit of challenges. We believe in learning through effort, where failure is seen as an essential part of growth. Our goal is to inspire you to think critically, make wise decisions, and hold each other accountable as we all grow in faith and wisdom.
We are excited to welcome you to CVCA, where we are not only a school but a community united in Christ, striving to help each other flourish.
MISSION
The mission of CVCA is to provide an education of highest quality within a Christ-centered environment. It is dedicated to developing the whole person by fostering growth in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and by promoting academic excellence, emotional stability, physical well-being, and social responsibility.

Central Valley Christian Academy
A Short History
CVCA traces its roots back to 1909 when a small buggy painting shop was converted into the first school building. In 1910, Miss Benton began teaching 10 students in one room while living in the other. As the school grew, so did its impact, evolving from a modest one-room setup into Modesto Union Academy in 1935 when local churches combined their efforts to support Christian education.

In 2000, a new school complex was completed, providing a modern space for students to learn and grow. By 2005, the academy embraced its current name, Central Valley Christian Academy, reflecting its mission to provide Christ-centered education to the Central Valley. Today, CVCA continues its legacy of academic excellence and faith development, serving students from kindergarten through high school.
